T1I Marketplace

The items here are made by myself and my husband (we both have type 1 diabetes). A few were made and donated by our supporters or by other people with type 1 who wish to support the initiative.

Each donation you make when paying for an item will go directly to the amazing AYUDA cause, helping kids with type 1 diabetes. Visit my page to learn about AYUDA and my journey to support camps in the Dominican Republic this summer.

*An asterisk means customizable. You can choose a particular image, quote or name for your art. Please note that these items, depending on your choice, may take a little longer to get to you so we can make it just the way you want it.

Here’s how it works: ayuda

1. Choose your item. All prices are inclusive of postage.

2. Click the “AYUDA” image and make your donation in the amount listed below your item. (We can only mail your item or start creating it after you have made your donation.)

3. Email me at erpfiester@gmail.com right away to:
(1) let me know what item you donated for
(2) explain how you would like it customized (if so)
(3) tell me your mailing address so I can post the item to you

4. Wait for your item to arrive and tell all your friends about T1I Marketplace! 🙂

What a wonderful idea. You’re hard work is helping so many people.

I’m unclear about some things with the art. It’s probably explained somewhere, but I didn’t see it. Who is the art made by? And I
see that some is on card stock. What are the other pieces produced on?

    Thanks. They are really lovely!

      Dear Laura,

Thanks for your comment and encouragement! The art is made by myself and my husband (we both have type 1 diabetes). The knitwear is made by our supporting family members and there will be more art to come which is donated by friends and supporters. The paintings are mostly on canvas and the watercolours are on watercolour paper (so a thicker than normal type of paper). It is a good point and I will make clearer on the page what medium I used. Thanks for that! If you want to read more abuot myself, my husband, or the project, have a look around the ‘about T1I’ section of the site or the ‘AYUDA Project’ section. 🙂
